The Trust Pledge
For service and repairs, Mekonomen always uses original parts or spare parts of equivalent quality. Original parts mean products produced exactly according to the specification used when parts are assembled at the car factory. Spare parts of equivalent quality are parts that maintain at least original part quality, but which in themselves can also be of higher quality. If you have your car serviced at Mekonomen's workshops, your new car warranty applies. We always use original parts or parts of equivalent quality and follow the car manufacturer's service recommendations. After work is carried out, we stamp/register in your service book, which is valuable the day you sell or trade in the car. For parts and repairs, the requirements regulated through the Craftsman Services Act and the Consumer Purchases Act apply.
When selling/installing used parts, the following applies:
We give consumers a 30-day right of exchange (right of withdrawal), but a return fee of up to 20% is calculated. If the purchased parts have been opened, altered or taken apart, any right of complaint/exchange lapses. Parts that have been tried/installed and found to be in order will not be taken in return. The right of complaint does not cover wear parts that come with the engine/gearbox upon delivery, ie gaskets, hoses, clutch, water pump and other similar wear parts. The right of complaint also does not cover damage to the engine/gearbox caused by any of these parts becoming defective. If you have received a defective item, or the item has become defective within the complaint period, a corresponding replacement item will be delivered if possible. If we cannot deliver a corresponding replacement item, the purchase price will be credited. Costs for installation/dismantling will not be covered by Batteri Elektro, if a used part should have/be defective. The item(s) you have purchased/had installed regarding used car parts that Batteri Elektro AS believes will be able to function satisfactorily. If the part's age and previous use nevertheless cause the part(s) not to have intended functionality, Batteri Elektro AS disclaims any responsibility for such malfunctions. Work must not be started on the part/car before Batteri Elektro AS is contacted.
WARRANTY
3 months warranty on used car parts, in the event of a breakdown we give "New" used item or item value refunded. Our responsibility is limited, regardless of cause, to the item's sales value. Expenses for input/output mounting are not covered by Batteri Elektro AS.
§S- Warranty Terms
The warranty only applies if no intervention, repairs or attempts to repair components have been made by unauthorized or unapproved parties. The warranty is limited to applying within Norway's borders. The owner is responsible for all costs and risks associated with transporting the vehicle to our workshop in connection with warranty cases.
B2B
B2B gives the buyer a 6 months warranty against manufacturing and material errors, and that the buyer complains within a reasonable time after the error is discovered. The warranty does not apply to: negligent use, moisture, power outage, damage as a result of intervention, inadequate maintenance or incorrect use.
